Platform Engineering

Your engineers are spending too much time on infrastructure.

Build Our Platform

The problem

We build internal platforms that let developers ship faster without constantly managing infrastructure.

Who it's for

Teams of roughly 10–50 engineers where every squad has reinvented deployment, and senior engineers have quietly become full-time infrastructure support.

Approach

How we work through it.

  1. 01

Map the current path from commit to production, including every manual step and Slack request.

  2. 02

Define a golden path: one supported way to create a service, deploy it and observe it.

  3. 03

Build self-service templates and environments rather than a ticket queue.

  4. 04

Make the paved road the fastest road — adoption comes from convenience, not mandate.

  5. 05

Measure platform success with lead time, deploy frequency and change failure rate.

Deliverables

What you end up with.

  • Service templates and scaffolding
  • Self-service environment provisioning
  • Standardised deployment pipeline
  • Platform documentation and golden-path guide
  • Delivery metrics dashboard

Technologies

  • Terraform
  • Kubernetes
  • Backstage
  • GitHub Actions
  • Argo CD
  • Helm
  • OpenTelemetry

Typical engagement

8–16 weeks to a working golden path used by at least two teams, then incremental expansion.

Questions

Before you email us.

Do we need a platform team to own this?
Eventually, yes — but it can start as one or two engineers with a clear remit. Part of our engagement is defining that ownership and making the platform small enough to be maintained by the team you actually have.
Is this just Backstage?
No. A developer portal is a UI over a platform; if the underlying provisioning and pipelines are inconsistent, the portal just exposes the mess. We build the paved road first and add a portal when it earns its keep.

Start with a two-week Infrastructure Review.

Fixed scope, starting at €3,000, and a 90-day roadmap you keep whether or not we implement it.
