Cloud Cost Optimization
Your cloud bill is growing faster than your business.
Optimize My CloudThe problem
We identify waste, architectural inefficiencies and unnecessary infrastructure costs while preserving performance and reliability.
Who it's for
Engineering leaders whose cloud spend has outpaced revenue growth, and finance teams who cannot get a straight answer about what drives the bill.
Approach
How we work through it.
- 01
Attribute spend to teams, services and environments before touching anything.
- 02
Separate waste (idle, orphaned, over-provisioned) from architectural cost drivers.
- 03
Rightsize compute and storage against real utilisation, not peak-day guesses.
- 04
Apply commitments — savings plans, reservations, committed use — only after the shape of the workload is stable.
- 05
Put guardrails in place: budgets, anomaly alerts and tagging enforced in CI.
Deliverables
What you end up with.
- Cost breakdown by service, environment and team
- Ranked savings actions with estimated monthly impact
- Rightsizing and commitment plan
- Tagging and showback model enforced in code
- Budget and anomaly alerting
Technologies
- AWS Cost Explorer
- Azure Cost Management
- Kubecost
- OpenCost
- Terraform
- Grafana
Typical engagement
Typically a 2-week review followed by a 4–8 week implementation, or ongoing FinOps as part of a retainer.
Questions
Before you email us.
- Will cost work degrade our reliability?
- No. Every change is proposed with its reliability impact stated. Rightsizing is done against observed utilisation with headroom, and anything that reduces redundancy is flagged as a trade-off decision for you to make, not a saving we book quietly.
- How much can we realistically save?
- It depends entirely on your architecture and how long it has been growing unmanaged. We will not quote a percentage before looking. The review gives you a per-action estimate you can verify against your own bill.
- Do you take a percentage of savings?
- No. We charge for engineering time. Percentage-of-savings pricing creates an incentive to optimise the easy line items and leave the architectural work undone.
Start with a two-week Infrastructure Review.
Fixed scope, starting at €3,000, and a 90-day roadmap you keep whether or not we implement it.
